Help Kane Ivers-Osthus
Native resident of Melbourne Beach Fl, Kane Ivers-Osthus, 24, completed his undergrad degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville. At the beginning of 2017, he accepted a position at the Temple University in Philadelphia, PA as a Graduate Assistant, and was promoted to Full Time as an equipment assistant. Kane was one of the staff that Coach Collins hired after working with Kane for two years at the University of Florida where Coach Collins was the Defensive Coordinator. Kane was admitted to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and later was diagnosed with Leukemia. Kane is just beginning his fight and needs all the love and support that we can give. Everyone that knows Kane knows what an awesome genuine person he is. He always has a positive attitude and a smile on his face. Kane has long fight ahead of him and we want to help him and his family through this difficult time.

Kane was discharged from rehab yesterday and spent today with the Temple football team and the blood drive that was set up in his honor. He found out he had around 70 blood transfusions and wanted to help out. He completed the first of 95 units of chemo, he will go 5 days a week for 4 weeks then will have 4 weeks off. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and donations. He is on his way to a “normal” life.
